How to apply

Any active journalists writing for newspapers, magazines, wire services, radio, television, or online news organizations may apply. Priority will be given to journalists covering religion. The Seminar is open to journalists from all countries, but fluency in English is required.

Candidates should apply online through an application form for either the Full Program or for the Half Program:

a) Full Program candidates:

- Candidates should fill out the online application form and send a personal curriculum (CV) by email to the address indicated in the website:

- Deadline for application: June 15, 2008.

- The organizing committee will respond to the applicants before June 25, 2008.

b) Half Program candidates:

- Candidates should fill out the online application form and send a personal curriculum (CV) by email to the address indicated in the website:

- Deadline for application: July 27, 2008.

a) Full Program: 800 EURO (see below Scholarship information)
Includes:
- Registration and participation in all the activities (classes, encounters and visits);
- Educational materials;
- Lunch for 6 days;
- Travel in Rome for seminar activities (trip to Castelgandolfo).

b) Half Program: 300 EURO
Includes:
- Registration for the morning activities (classes);
- Educational materials.

Once an application has been accepted, participants must register and arrange payment online.

a) Full Program:

- Applicants admitted for the Full Program will register and make payment online before July 10, 2008.

Candidates who withdraw from the Full Program before July 30, will be charged 100 euro (for administrative costs) and the rest will be reimbursed; from July 30 to September 1, only 50% will be reimbursed; after that date, the payment will not be reimbursed.

b) Half Program:

-Applicants admitted for the Half Program will register and make payment online before July 30, 2008.

Candidates who withdraw from the Half Program before September 1, will be charged 100 euro (for administrative costs) and the rest will be reimbursed; after that date, the payment will not be reimbursed.

- Registration online HALF PROGRAM (Between June 15 - July 27).

- Candidates for the Full Program may request a partial scholarship.

- Scholarships (600 EURO/participant) will be distributed according to the finances of the program.

- The application of the scholarship should be made online (on the same page of the application form).

- Deadline for the scholarships requests: June 15, 2008.

- Applicants will be notified of the scholarship decisions (positive or negative) before June 25, 2008.

- Those candidates who receive scholarships will only have to pay 200 EURO at the time of online registration.
